An artist at heart, Michael has designed, built and managed the construction of his own landscape designs since 2009. After nearly a decade on the stage as a professional opera singer, he found a new calling in the creation of residential landscapes, with a particular focus on beautiful and functional outdoor living spaces. Sustainable practices are central to Michael’s design philosophy and the inclusion of native plantings, as well as responsible water management (rainwater harvesting, bioswales, high efficiency irrigation and watering regimes) and the regular use of drought tolerant plantings are staples of his design work.
Michael enjoys spending time with his family, outdoors whenever possible, and can occasionally be heard down the block as he sings a bit of La Boheme while in the shower.
