Annette’s Way

With an adequate but uninspired back yard area and a bland and otherwise forgotten front entry, the homeowners wanted to create a gathering space for the rear yard that drew them out to enjoy the sunset views and a entry that inspired one to linger and relax. Now the rear yard’s fireplace and barbecue area is surrounded by lush lawn and a stone path leading to a patio area steel-and-wood shade structure. The natural slope at the front entry became home to a winding stream with a pondless waterfall, lush plantings and a small stone patio with seating to enjoy the colorful new landscape.
